eBriefings is a system with the goal to streamline and improve the workflow and management of Ministerial, Secretarial and Executive briefings, incoming correspondence, and parliamentary questions. The system provides a scalable, web enabled tool to support decision making.
The Department wanted to design a solution around end users, providing support for flexible working environments and mobility, improving the workflow and clarity of communications, and enhancing the technology to capture records at different stages and add electronic evidencing as specified by Government.
The Automated Briefings and Correspondence Project in the Future Workplace Program delivered the eBriefings system for DoT, DJPR and associated portfolio agencies.
The project was launched successfully and received positive feedback from users and key stakeholders. As a Senior UX designer I worked with the team on designing an intuitive system addressing the needs of the business and users.
